Erten production approach

Plan production around your brand, from fabric and fit to sampling and packaging.

Style and colour options

Choose your collection direction.

Fabrics containing bamboo-derived viscose can be considered for soft, fluid shirts. Describe composition using the actual fibre information supplied with the fabric. For draped business or casual collections, assess collar support, opacity and dimensions after care together.
Bamboo Shirts — Light green fluid style

Light green fluid style

A soft colour and simple front highlight drape. Select collar support that does not make the fabric feel unnecessarily rigid.

Pocketless navy style

Dark colour and a clean fastening can suit a restrained business collection. Seams and placket should sit without waviness.

Bamboo Shirts — Cream single-pocket style

On pale fabric, pocket layers and internal support may show through. Compare weight and opacity on a physical sample.

Fabric and collection direction

For bamboo-derived viscose and related blends, fibre descriptions and percentages are checked against supplier information. Documented composition guides material selection and labelling.

Style-specific manufacturing details

Samples of fluid fabrics are checked for seam balance, collar support and hem drape. Measurements, appearance after washing and care requirements are reviewed before bulk production.

From sample to order

Start with a reference garment, size chart or design file. We review styles, colours and size quantities alongside labels, packaging and the destination country. Sample approval, material availability and a written quotation establish the production scope.

Product development guide

The right sample. Clear decisions.

Fit and wearing comfort

Fluid fabric can sit closer to the body at the same measurements. Assess chest, waist and sleeve ease alongside drape. Hanging appearance alone is insufficient: also review movement and seated fit on the model.

What to check on the sample

Assess seam slippage, needle marks, placket waviness and dimensional change after care with the selected fabric. Match fibre name and percentage to supplier records. The material name alone is not evidence of antibacterial or environmental performance.

Care, finishing and packing

Base care methods on the actual fibre blend and finish. Review dimensions and handle after wet processing. Check that collar, cuffs and body remain compatible after care.

Preparing for samples and a quote

A starting point for your project.

Share your preferences for this style, approximate quantity, colour and size breakdown, target date and delivery country.
  • Verified fibre name and blend percentage
  • Samples showing drape, opacity and softness
  • Care expectations and any performance claims requiring verification

If your tech pack is not ready, we can start with a well-fitting reference garment, measurements and visual references. Agree fabric, fit and trim approvals before production.

Planning from sample to production

  1. Pattern development and first sample

A shirt fit / buying sample takes approximately 3-7 working days, depending on product complexity, materials and complete technical inputs.

  2. Sales sample

A shirt sales sample takes approximately 2-4 weeks; revisions and material sourcing may affect timing.

  3. Production and preparation for dispatch

Shirt production to dispatch readiness takes approximately 3-6 weeks, planned once order scope, approvals and material preparation are complete.

frequently asked
questions.

What information should we request for bamboo-based fabric?

Request the precise fibre composition, percentages, weight and available test records. Claims such as antibacterial performance require separate verification for the specific fabric.

How can we preserve collar shape in a fluid fabric?

Choose the collar pattern, support and stitching together with fabric weight. Support that is too rigid may conflict with the natural drape. Assess the balance between collar and body on the pressed sample and after care.

How is the minimum order determined?

Flexible MOQ. Order quantities are assessed by style, fabric, colour and size distribution. Share your approximate quantity so we can review options that suit the materials and production plan.

How are branding and international delivery planned?

Brand and care labels, packaging, destination country and delivery requirements are defined for each order. Transport, delivery terms, costs and timing are confirmed in the written quotation.
