Erten production approach

Plan production around your brand, from fabric and fit to sampling and packaging.

Style and colour options

Choose your collection direction.

For denim shirts, the approved final appearance matters more than the starting fabric colour. Clean indigo, a light wash and pronounced stitching can serve different customers. Assess colour, weight and trims together during sampling.

Light-wash direction

A lighter shade can suit casual and summer ranges. Approve post-wash measurements, stitching appearance and the acceptable shade range together.

A roomier body and simple collar create a versatile casual style. Choose buttons or snaps to suit the brand direction.

A more tailored silhouette can suit urban collections. Assess movement allowance, fabric weight and measurements after care together.

Fabric and collection direction

Denim weight, fibre content and target shade are assessed before the fit is finalised. Measurements and colour changes after washing are checked on samples to establish the production standard.

Style-specific manufacturing details

Pocket shape, yokes, contrast stitching and buttons or snaps are specified in the tech pack. Trims must be compatible with both the fabric and the wash treatment.

From sample to order

Start with a reference garment, size chart or design file. We review styles, colours and size quantities alongside labels, packaging and the destination country. Sample approval, material availability and a written quotation establish the production scope.

Product development guide

The right sample. Clear decisions.

Fit and wearing comfort

State clearly whether approved measurements apply before or after washing. Track chest, sleeve and hem changes on the sample, and link the production measurement standard to the approved final finish.

What to check on the sample

Define the acceptable wash-shade range with reference samples. Include stitching colour, pocket symmetry, trim finish and colour transfer through rubbing in the inspection plan according to the intended use.

Care, finishing and packing

Care methods can affect denim's colour character. Match care instructions to the selected fabric and wash process, and assess contact between dark garments and pale labels or packaging.

Planning from sample to production

  1. Pattern development and first sample

A shirt fit / buying sample takes approximately 3-7 working days, depending on product complexity, materials and complete technical inputs.

  2. Sales sample

A shirt sales sample takes approximately 2-4 weeks; revisions and material sourcing may affect timing.

  3. Production and preparation for dispatch

Shirt production to dispatch readiness takes approximately 3-6 weeks, planned once order scope, approvals and material preparation are complete.

frequently asked
questions.

Can different denim wash shades be developed?

Share a reference for your intended shade. Fabric suitability and sampling results determine the achievable finish and the agreed colour tolerance.

Can the same denim style be ordered in different washes?

Different shades can be planned after checking fabric and trim suitability. Approve a sample and measurement result for each wash. Even with a shared pattern, do not assume every process will affect colour and dimensions equally.

How is the minimum order determined?

Flexible MOQ. Order quantities are assessed by style, fabric, colour and size distribution. Share your approximate quantity so we can review options that suit the materials and production plan.

How are branding and international delivery planned?

Brand and care labels, packaging, destination country and delivery requirements are defined for each order. Transport, delivery terms, costs and timing are confirmed in the written quotation.
