Erten production approach

Plan production around your brand, from fabric and fit to sampling and packaging.

Style and colour options

Choose your collection direction.

Natural texture, a lightweight feel and relaxed drape are central to linen shirts. Pure linen and linen blends do not have the same handle; compare them against target price, appearance and care expectations. Different collars and sleeves can suit resort, casual summer or relaxed office collections.

White long-sleeve linen

A classic collar and long sleeves create a versatile summer essential. Check opacity and the visibility of pocket layers and interlining together.

Sand and beige shades emphasise the natural texture. Balance untucked length and a soft collar with the collection's use.

Linen Shirts — White open-collar short sleeve

White open-collar short sleeve

A camp collar and short sleeves can suit resort wear. Sleeve opening width and collar opening complete the relaxed silhouette.

Fabric and collection direction

Linen and linen-blend options are assessed for actual fibre percentages, weight and opacity. Creasing characteristics and measurements after washing are reviewed on the sample.

Style-specific manufacturing details

Relaxed fits, short or long sleeves and open or classic collars are planned together. On light colours, pocket and interlining visibility are checked after final pressing.

From sample to order

Start with a reference garment, size chart or design file. We review styles, colours and size quantities alongside labels, packaging and the destination country. Sample approval, material availability and a written quotation establish the production scope.

Product development guide

The right sample. Clear decisions.

Fit and wearing comfort

Choose body ease with the fabric's natural creasing and movement in mind. Distinguish strain caused by a tight fit from natural surface wrinkles. Assess the sample seated, with arms raised and worn untucked.

What to check on the sample

Define acceptable yarn irregularity on a physical fabric sample. Assess seam slippage, placket puckering and post-wash dimensional change with the selected fabric. Check the visibility of internal construction through pale colours.

Care, finishing and packing

Agree how much natural texture to retain. A freshly pressed finish and a relaxed washed appearance may need different treatments. Base care instructions on the actual fibre blend; one set of instructions will not suit every linen blend.

  1. Pattern development and first sample

A shirt fit / buying sample takes approximately 3-7 working days, depending on product complexity, materials and complete technical inputs.

  2. Sales sample

A shirt sales sample takes approximately 2-4 weeks; revisions and material sourcing may affect timing.

  3. Production and preparation for dispatch

Shirt production to dispatch readiness takes approximately 3-6 weeks, planned once order scope, approvals and material preparation are complete.

frequently asked
questions.

How do we choose between pure linen and a linen blend?

Share your preferred texture, price level, care requirements and drape. Fabric samples with stated fibre percentages help identify the right direction for your collection.

What should we compare when choosing a linen blend?

Compare weight, drape, dimensions after care and handle as well as appearance. Blend percentages alone do not describe the result. Samples made to the same fit can be assessed against the intended use and price range.

How is the minimum order determined?

Flexible MOQ. Order quantities are assessed by style, fabric, colour and size distribution. Share your approximate quantity so we can review options that suit the materials and production plan.

How are branding and international delivery planned?

Brand and care labels, packaging, destination country and delivery requirements are defined for each order. Transport, delivery terms, costs and timing are confirmed in the written quotation.
