Erten production approach

Plan production around your brand, from fabric and fit to sampling and packaging.

Style and colour options

Choose your collection direction.

Sleeve openings and collar shape strongly influence whether a short-sleeve shirt feels like business or holiday wear. For menswear brands and summer corporate programmes, choose colour, pockets and hem length around the intended use.

Style-specific manufacturing details

Sleeve length and opening width are graded consistently across sizes. Turned-up hems, pockets, open collars and side slits are finalised through sampling.

From sample to order

Start with a reference garment, size chart or design file. We review styles, colours and size quantities alongside labels, packaging and the destination country. Sample approval, material availability and a written quotation establish the production scope.

Product development guide

The right sample. Clear decisions.

Fit and wearing comfort

Simply shortening a long sleeve is not enough. Assess sleeve opening, length and upper-arm width across sizes. Check armhole balance so the shirt body does not rise excessively when the arm is lifted.

What to check on the sample

Inspect the sleeve hem finish, equal sleeve lengths and underarm joins. Internal seams can be more visible in short sleeves, so review seam allowances and clean finishing on the sample.

Care, finishing and packing

Check twisting at the lower hem and sleeve openings after care in lightweight summer fabrics. Plan pressing and folding so sleeves do not leave marks on the body. Record the approved crisp or relaxed appearance.

frequently asked
questions.

Is it enough simply to shorten a long-sleeve shirt?

Sleeve opening, length and armhole balance need separate assessment. A reference style can guide measurements that preserve the intended short-sleeve silhouette.

Can short-sleeve and long-sleeve styles form one collection?

Yes. Shared colours, fabric and collar styling can create a product family. Develop short-sleeve openings and armholes separately, and try both samples on the same size to compare proportions across the range.

How is the minimum order determined?

Flexible MOQ. Order quantities are assessed by style, fabric, colour and size distribution. Share your approximate quantity so we can review options that suit the materials and production plan.

How are branding and international delivery planned?

Brand and care labels, packaging, destination country and delivery requirements are defined for each order. Transport, delivery terms, costs and timing are confirmed in the written quotation.
