Erten production approach

Plan production around your brand, from fabric and fit to sampling and packaging.

Style and colour options

Choose your collection direction.

Tropical prints and open collars are central to Hawaiian shirts in resort and seasonal collections. Large flowers, leaves or quieter tonal motifs can suit different brand directions. Develop print scale and body volume together to keep the garment balanced.

Leaves and flowers on a dark ground create a distinctive summer look. Choose how strongly buttons should contrast with the print.

A pale ground and limited palette create a quieter resort direction. Review motif placement at the collar and front closure.

Strong colour and large flowers make a bold seasonal style. Specify pockets and seams where pattern matching is required.

Style-specific manufacturing details

Open collars, short sleeves, straight hems and pockets are planned together. Large-motif placement at the front closure and pockets is defined with the print repeat before cutting.

From sample to order

Start with a reference garment, size chart or design file. We review styles, colours and size quantities alongside labels, packaging and the destination country. Sample approval, material availability and a written quotation establish the production scope.

Product development guide

The right sample. Clear decisions.

Fit and wearing comfort

Balance the relaxed body, open collar and short sleeves. Review whether large motifs become fragmented on a slim fit or lose their scale on an excessively wide body. Select untucked length for the intended customer.

What to check on the sample

Approve colour, repeat dimensions and motif definition on a print sample. Mark placement if key motifs must not be cut by the button line or pocket. Compare the print's appearance across sizes.

Care, finishing and packing

Assess print and ground colours after care with the selected fabric. Check seam slippage in fluid fabrics and collar roll in crisper fabrics. Prepare care labels for the actual fabric and printing method.

frequently asked
questions.

How is large-motif placement approved?

The artwork file and repeat dimensions guide placement on the shirt. Any special matching at the front closure or pockets is included in sampling and fabric-consumption calculations.

Should a large tropical print have a chest pocket?

A pocket can be included, but consider how it divides the motif. Choose matched print placement or deliberate contrast. Resolve this on the sample alongside fabric consumption and construction requirements.

How is the minimum order determined?

Flexible MOQ. Order quantities are assessed by style, fabric, colour and size distribution. Share your approximate quantity so we can review options that suit the materials and production plan.

How are branding and international delivery planned?

Brand and care labels, packaging, destination country and delivery requirements are defined for each order. Transport, delivery terms, costs and timing are confirmed in the written quotation.
