You can start with a sketch, size chart, reference garment or notes describing what you need. We identify any outstanding decisions during the initial assessment.
02Can we start with just a reference product?
Yes. A reference product can help us understand the expected fit, appearance and workmanship.
03How do we proceed if we don't have a size chart?
We assess the sizing approach against the target customer, size range and any reference garment, then agree the key measurements for the sample.
04Can we use our own fabric or trims?
We can assess the fabrics and trims you provide for garment construction, workmanship and manufacturing feasibility, then include suitable items in the sampling scope.
05Which details can be assessed on the sample?
Pattern, measurements, fabric, collar, cuff, pocket, buttons, stitching, labels and other branding details can be assessed against the product brief.
06Can changes be made on the sample?
Yes. We review feedback on measurements, appearance, materials and product details, then record the agreed changes.
07How to track changes?
Approved changes are recorded with the product and measurement information. The next sample or production run is assessed against the same decisions.
08How to use approved sample in bulk production?
The approved sample and the resulting product information form the basis of the appearance, size and workmanship standards that must be maintained in bulk production.
09How are samples submitted and reviewed?
During the initial consultation, we agree how the sample will be sent and assessed, based on its scope, each party's location and the product information required.
10When will the sample plan and cost become clear?
A shirt fit / buying sample takes approximately 3-7 working days; a sales sample takes approximately 2-4 weeks. Product complexity, technical inputs, material sourcing and revisions affect timing. Pyjama sample timing and the cost of each sample are assessed separately.
