A single quantity figure does not explain all projects
Minimum production quantity is assessed alongside product construction, the number of styles, fabric sourcing, colours, size breakdown and customised trims. Please share the order breakdown as well as the total quantity.
Splitting an order affects manufacturing feasibility
Even if the total quantity seems sufficient, a large number of styles, colours or small size distributions may change the production plan.

Separate sample and bulk production quantity
The product development and sample phase is not the mass order itself. Sample purpose and bulk production target should be explained separately in the initial consultation.
Ask the right question
Alongside ‘What is your minimum order quantity?’, ask ‘What production set-up can support this collection mix?’ This gives you a sounder basis for planning.
Total quantity and producible distribution are not the same thing
The fact that the order consists of hundreds of parts does not provide sufficient information on its own. Dividing the same total into multiple style, colour and small size groups changes the cut, material and production plan.
If similar styles can use the same fabric or trims, the order can be planned more efficiently. Please provide the collection split in table form before quotation.

Evaluate order size together with business target
An initial order, sales test or follow-on collection creates different planning needs. Focusing on product categories that matter to the target customer, rather than introducing too many styles, provides a more manageable starting point.
